Welcome to my teaching page! I am a dedicated, enthusiastic piano teacher and I am happy to take on any age and ability. Whether you are a parent wanting your child to learn the piano, or an adult who would like to take on a new hobby, or someone who has had piano lessons and would like to continue learning with a different teacher, I strive to nurture the potential of every student.

Although currently I am a student myself, I have already had experience teaching at various levels and with different age groups privately. At the Royal Northern College of Music, alongside my performance degree, I am also undertaking a specialist teacher-training course run by the former deputy head of keyboard and expert pedagogue, Helen Krizos. Through this course I have had the opportunity to teach piano at a primary school in Levenshulme and will continue teaching on the piano teaching scheme at the RNCM this year.

I hope to make teaching a major part of my musical career and would like to share the knowledge I have gained through my varied experience as a performer and learner with as many people as possible!

For me the best piano teachers have the following qualities: patience, commitment, a passion for music and belief in their student's abilities and potential.  I try my absolute best to be that teacher for my students.

I don't believe in teaching methodologies (of which there are thousands!) and will work around each student to help create a unique 'method' that takes

advantage of their strengths but also improves on their weaknesses.
